 Originally from New York City, Judy Bergman Hochberg settled in the Boston area after receiving her B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees from Boston University. She has worked as a printmaker at Full Tilt Print Studio the printmaking cooperative (formerly EES Arts) for many years, Her work reflects her concentration in the area of digital photography and photogravure etching. 

Her work is in the permanent collections of the Boston Athenaeum, the Boston Public Library, the Art Complex Museum of Duxbury, MA, Fidelity Investments, the Fogg Art Museum, Hebrew Senior Life of Boston, Wheaton College, and the Worcester Art Museum. She is a member of the Boston Printmakers, Griffin Museum of Photography, Attleboro Museum, South Shore Camera Club, and Fuller Craft Museum.

Her print, The Cornfield was cited in Cate McQuaid's Boston Globe review of the Boston Printmakers 2015 Biennial Exhibit on Nov. 25, 2015. Her print The Last Stop won the third juror's award at the ACPS Annual Members Exhibit in Nov., 2015. She was awarded second prize for her print Homies in Azama, Ecuador  during the Soho Photo Alternative Processes Exhibit in New York, in November, 2014. She coordinated the creation and publication of six portfolios of prints by members of EES Arts, which have been widely exhibited and collected. She created several artist's books, one of which won second prize at Press Works at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, NH in 2006. Among her other projects, she submitted a design for the World Trade Center Memorial competition in 2003. She has published two portfolios of prints, Aguas Zarcas/Six Fragments and Butterflies.
